This G-Shock is a dissappointment. I had it for a day and returned it since I cannot hardly read the time. Military concept (yeah right!) Ive been to diff. deployments and I would not take this one. You have to be able to tell the time in a snap. This one seems like its not even on most of the time due to poor visibility. Well, If you are just inside the wire then, you can probably deal with it. I purchased this watch from another retailer a few weeks ago, and have worn the watch constantly since buying it. I absolutely love the matte black case and no nonsense vibe from the watch. Its best feature though is the dark screen. It precludes people from leaning over and trying to see the time off of my watch (which drives me crazy) but most of the time is entirely legible to the wearer. In times when it is too dark to read though, it has a great back light that makes it easy to see.
My only complaint is of the band. All G-Shocks have a seemingly cheap band which feels like it will fall apart any second. After wearing it, I can say that the band will not fall apart, but nonetheless it still really does FEEL cheap.
I absolutely love this watch, it combines near indestructibility with a beautiful rugged styling. A great buy for anyone; well worth the $100 price. | | Was this review helpful to you?
